Wanted: Families of all kinds who love to have fun at Seattle parks
Does your family like to get outside and have fun while getting your photos taken?
I am looking for three families that would like to receive a free mini session and three fully retouched high resolution digital images in exchange for being featured in my promotional materials. (Value of $175)
If you wish to purchase more digital images afterwards you will have the option to purchase more files online. There is no obligation to purchase more images.
All kinds of families with children from 6 months to 18 years old may apply. I am not including newborns or young babies at this point because I want to make sure to have enough time to get really great photos of you and your family.
I have over 20 years of photography experience, but I find that my portfolio no longer fully reflects my photographic style. So, I need new faces to come and have some fun with me at the park so I can show people my new style and you can get some amazing photos of your family.
To be considered for this project please fill out the form below and I will get back to you as soon as I can. I am looking to schedule families as soon as possible. So having some upcoming availability is definitely a plus, but not required.

FAQ
Are there any fees for this?
I do require a $50 deposit to hold you session date and time. I take payment over Paypal and will return it to you when we finish our session.
What is a mini session?
A mini session is a session that is shorter than a regular session, just 20 minutes long. This is really great for children since most children don’t last very long being photographed anyway.
What if it rains?
If it rains on the day of our session I will call you and we will reschedule for the soonest date possible. If there is predicted to be a severe weather event on the day of our session I may reschedule the sessions in advance.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you or your family are sick or have an emergency please call me as soon as possible and we will reschedule you.
If you need to reschedule for any other reason please reach out 48 hours before your session to reschedule your session. Any reschedules or cancellations after 48 hour will be charged the sitting fee/retainer of $50.
Can I bring my pet?
These sessions do not include pets. However, if you wish to bring a pet you can book a full custom session.
Can I include my parents?
For this project I am only including immediate family up to six people. If you wish to have a multi-generational session, please reach out as this is a passion of mine. aovena@amandaovena.com
Where will the sessions be?
Once you contact me I will give you a list of options with locations and times. Some examples are a sunset session at Alki, a morning session at Seward Park, an evening session at the Arboretum, a sunset session at Kubota Gardens.
What is the price for purchasing more photos?
I am giving each family selected package one for free. You can upgrade to the other packages if you wish. So, if you want to have 10 digital images you can take your credit of $125 and pay $100 to have 10. Or you can take your credit and get all the images for $200.
